Carl GoldenCarl Golden, 93,of Hemet, passed away Sunday, December 5th, 2010.Born Monday, June 25, 1917 in Byers, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Hiraqm Golden and the late Susie Golden.He was employed by Palm Springs Unifies School District as a ground keeper for many years. His love was his yard. He had apple, pear, and apricot trees. He was an animal trainer for all his dogs. They could sit, rollover and get the paper daily. Watching westerns was a passion and he loved John Wayne movies. He listened to country western music. He was a member of the local Elks Chapter.Surviving are daughters Bonnie Villa of Hemet, and Carla Hale of Hemet. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia West, of Hemet, sister Ellen Henninger of San Jacinto, Shirley Linthacun of Mesa, AZ, Opal Henderson of Downey, Mabel Longwell of Hemet, Dorothy Allen of McCall, ID; brother Forman Golden. He has 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Hemet, Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 1:00pm with reception following immediately. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Friday December 17, 2010 at 10:30am, staging area #3Arrangements are being intrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary. Services are pending.
