

Carl Wayne "Grumpinator" Jennings, 65, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at his home in Hemet. Born April 26, 1948 in Mesa, AZ; he was the son of the late Carl Elvis and Mamie Josephine Jennings.
Shortly after graduating from Corcoran High School, Carl joined the United States Navy and proudly served our country for six years. When he left the service, he began his long career in the RV industry. He was very skilled with his hands and knew his engines well. He owned RVPO (RV Parts Outlet) in San Jacinto, CA.
Carl had many hobbies, but the one he was most passionate about was drag racing and he was great at it. He won many races between California, Nevada, and Oregon, and loved every moment he was behind the wheel. His nickname "Grumpinator" was created by his racing buddies. He also enjoyed fishing and spending free time with his friends.
He is survived by his son, Chris Jennings; sister, Retta and brother-in-law, Bill Blocksom of Scappoose, OR; niece, Mona Martinez; nephews, Eric, Jay, and Russell Martinez; and many, many dear friends.
In honor of his dedicated service to the United States of America, Carl will be respectfully and privately laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
