Carlos Alejandro Palma left this world on January 26, 2016. He was a brilliant but very modest man with an amazing heart. He took every opportunity to pay it forward and was thankful for all he had in life. This was his motto. "Find out how much God has given you and from it take what you need; the remainder is needed by others." (St. Augustine)
Carlos was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina on November 22, 1963. He moved with family to the United States in December of 1968. The family resided in Glendale, CA for a few years then moved to Santa Maria, CA. Carlos grew up there with support of family and many friends. The family moved to Tucson, AZ for a year and Carlos graduated from High School while in Tucson. After the family moved back to Santa Maria, the big city of LA was always calling him. He made that adventurous move to Hawthorne with some friends in 1982.
He soon jumped into the workforce and started his life long aerospace career which, included positions with Northrup, Alcoa, and Hulamin North America. He loved the aerospace industry and strived to learn as much as he could and mentor those who had the same desire.
Soccer, golf, and sharing music and good wine with family and friends were his passions. He found the best way to relax and put life into perspective was to take walks on the beach with his wife Laura and their dog Lola.
He is survived by his wife Laura; father Carlos Sr.; Paula, his sister; nephew Lorenzo Spatola; Victor Palma, uncle; and cousin Jorge his wife Maria and children; Blanca Montero, Gloria Sandoval, aunts. And many family members in Chile and Argentina.
