

Carmen A. McFadden went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 95 on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2:00 am. She was born June 14, 1915 in St. Marys, Ohio. Her family moved to Taft, CA in 1917 to work in the oil industry. Carmen was a devout Christian who attended Westside Christian Center Foursquare Church in Taft, CA. She tirelessly served the Lord for many years. She graduated into heaven Summa Cum Laude. She was a loving and prayerful mother who prayed diligently for her children, family and the salvation of people everywhere.
She is survived by her son, Larry McFadden, wife Rose and their children; Shawn McFadden, Christina Mota, husband Frank and their son, Nathaniel Mota, daughter in-law; Ruth Ann (Schwartz) wife of the late William Maize Sr., their two sons; David and Mark Maize, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren in Ohio and a host of family and friends. She is also survived by her two best friends, Bob and Gayle Hayes who were always a source of inspiration and blessing to her.
Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. McFadden, her oldest son, William Maize Sr., and her granddaughter, Michelle Allinder.
Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend will be greatly missed. We are all looking forward to that glorious day when we will be reunited in heaven with this wonderful lady.
