Carol May Anderson

Carol was born in the Township of Danville, Minnesota, on July 14th, 1920, to Richard and Nevah Shuck. She was the 4th child of 12, and the oldest daughter. She was a long time resident of Mapleton, MN.

On June 3rd, 1942, she married the love of her life, Addis B. Anderson. Together they raised 3 girls and 4 boys. During World War II she sewed uniforms for our servicemen.

Carol enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, doll and bear making, ceramics, sketching and the list goes on. She was a loving wife, mother, and a loyal friend.

The family moved from Minnesota to California in 1963. As a family, they enjoyed camping, family gatherings and being together.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Addis, her parents, 1 sister, 5 brothers, 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson

She is survived by her 7 children, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 sisters.

There will be a private memorial service at Riverside National Cemetery, where she will join her husband. Memorial donations may be made to your choice of a Veteran Organization.
