

Carroll John Stonebraker Sr, 81 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Elder Care of Park Avenue in Hemet, California. He was born Sunday, January 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Newton Brown and Bernice Johnston Stonebraker. He was married to the love of his life, Mary Stonebraker who had two wonderful children Michelle Estep and CJ Stonebraker Jr. Carroll served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1952-1956 as a machinist. Carroll was a automotive mechanic by trade for over 31 years but his love was for his Honda Goldwing Motorcycle. He travelled all over the United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada exploring many wonderful destinations. He had many motorcycles during his life time, some with side cars but always top of the line and well maintained. Carroll was an original founding member of the GWRRA ( Gold Wing Riding Association ) motorcycle club. Carroll also was very good with his hands and made many things with wood. He considered himself a carpenter. He would rarely make a purchase to replace something when he could easily rebuild it better than new. He was all about quality. Giving to community was also very important to Carroll. He was involved with Habitat for Humanity, the Volunteer Hemet Police Department and Hemet Valley Hospital Transport team for patience. Carroll's family describes him at generous, giving, meticulous and sometimes a little stubborn. Surviving is his wife Mary Stonebraker, daughter Michelle Estep and husband Brent, son CJ StonebrakerJr. and wife Ami, sister Clara Barton, and 4 grand children Kyle, Abby, Cameron, and Evan.
