Catherine Allen

Born Sunday, June 29, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Robert Allen for 67 years. They had eight wonderful children. She was involved in the community and her childrens lives. She coached girls basketball, played and taught piano. She loved to play golf and was able to make two holes in one during her lifetime. Catherine loved to knit and sew and also enjoyed painting. Roberts job required a lot of traveling so she was able to see the world. One of her favorite places was Saudi Arabia. Catherine made donations to the local Hospice with knitted bonnets for children.

Surviving are sons, Robert Allen (Nancy) of Placentia, CA, Joseph Michael Allen (Donna) of Michigan, and Michael Robert Allen (Carol) of Desert Hot Springs, CA, daughters, Carolyn Gallagher (Robert) of Frisco, TX, Catherine Lambie (William) of Hurley, WI, Karen Lee Melia of Mandeville, LA, Barbara Jo Hughes (Robert) of Hemet, CA and Donna Marie Tosh (Michael) of Maryland.

A visitation is scheduled for April 12,2011 at 4pm to 8pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Bl. Hemet CA 92543

A Mass is scheduled for April 13, 2011 at Our Lady of the Valley, 780 S State St, Hemet CA 92543.

Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. at a later date.
