Cathy Elizabeth Storm-Ventura

Catherine (Cathy) Elizabeth Storm-Ventura of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, November 18, peacefully in her home at the age of 57 due to complications of cancer. Cathy was born into the hearts of Robert and Carol Storm on July 25, 1962. Catherine is preceded in death by her father Robert Leon Storm.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Michael Anthony Ventura, her five children Brandie Adkins, Breanne Adkins, Christopher Sandoval, Boyd Beach and Jonah Ventura. Her eight grandchildren, Ryan, Jamie Lee, and Boogiedie Edwards, Robert, Trissa and Marissa Redden, Charidee and Christopher Jr. Sandoval. Her parents Ron and Carol McManus, brother David Storm, sister Lynn Duncan and her Uncle Boyd Storm. Along with many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.

Cathy was born in Long Beach California and graduated from Pasadena High School in her younger years she had a love for swimming and surfing. She was a very competitive swimmer who at one time was invited to participate on an Olympic Swim Team. Her competitive side and love for sports never left her. She loved watching her boys on the field, cheering on her favorite Eagles football coach Mike and of course rooting for her Angeles baseball. Cathy enjoyed spending time at the beach collecting her seashells & rocks while watching the dolphins swim by. Her favorite traveling spot included her trips to Mexico were she had the opportunity to serve in El Rosario, there she became close friends with the pastors and church in the town. She has been a part of Valle Vista Assembly of God Church for the past 25 years where she has served many with her compassion and love for others.

Cathy’s greatest passions were her love for her Savior Jesus Christ and her love for her family. She showed her love for each of them through her dedication, her faithfulness and her strength. They were truly the Joy in her life.

Celebration of Life service will be held on November 30, 2019 at 3 pm at Valle Vista Assembly of God, 45252 E. Florida Ave. Hemet, Ca 92544. Dinner reception will follow the service.
