Charles M. Barnett passed away on April 26th, 2016 at the age of 85. He served proudly in the Air Force and Marines for 25 years, most recently at March Air Force Base 15th Command and Control Management. He earned an MBA with Honors at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. During his service, he earned numerous medals and awards. Among them, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross (with Palm), Presidential Unit Citation and the Air Force Commendation medal. When he retired, he was an active volunteer and officer for the Riverside DAV Chapter #28.
He is survived by a loving wife of 54 years, and two daughters. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10th at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging area #4 at 9:45 AM.
