Charles William Connor

Charles William Connor age 94, died on Friday, May 11, 2012 at his residence in Hemet, Ca. He was born in Kansas and attended schools there. He was married to Lorene Lyne in Belleville, Kansas in 1935. They moved to Olympia, Washington in 1942. He served in the United States Army Air Force for three years during World War II. He returned to Olympia and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He moved to Shelton, Washington in 1972 and was postmaster there until he retired in 1982. He was a member of Evergreen Christian Center in Olympia and has attended San Jacinto Assembly of God since moving to California. They moved to Hemet in 1988. He is survived by his loving wife Lorene Connor of 77 years, two sisters; Ada Connor of Boise, Idaho, Betty Knoll of Hemet, Ca. Brother Ernie Connor of Hemet, Ca and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at McWane Family Funeral Home from 9:00 A. M. to 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, followed by a Funeral Service.
