Charles decided to stay in California and raise a family while he was stationed here to serve in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Lillie Maureen McNeil, in 2009. Charles was a man who knew someone, where ever he went. He enjoyed telling stories and was very funny. Charles enjoyed birds and See's Candy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Charles leaves behind his son, Donald McNeil; and daughter, Julie McNeil; as well as 3 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
