Charles Edward Overton Jr., 63 of Hemet, CA passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1953 in Pomona CA, to Charles and Mamie Overton. He was married to Janel Overton for 36 wonderful years.
Charles is also survived by his daughter, Vicki Buttar and his god-daughter, Victoria.
Charles was an active member, and soldier, in the Hemet chapter of the Salvation Army. He loved fishing, camping, collecting model trains, and spending time with his devoted wife and family. He also cared greatly for his four-legged kids, Spikey, Neechee and Odin.
While Charles' nick-name was "Bear", he was warm of heart. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh.
Charles was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Services will be held privately by the family.
