Cheri Lynn Patterson

Cheri Lynn Patterson, age 46, of Hemet, CA, lost her battle with cancer and passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, Hemet, CA. Cheri was born October 31, 1966 in Salinas California. She was a Firefighter with CDF, and a Dispatcher & Public Information Officer with the Riverside County Fire Department for 26 years, Retiring in 2012. She loved being a mom to her three beautiful boys. She was very involved with all their school activities, especially her youngest son's water polo team. Some of the other things she enjoyed to do was going to the beach, the river, camping in the desert, and really spending quality time with the family. Baking was one of her gifts; everyone loved her peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

Cheri was a mentor to her friends and co-workers. She was a beautiful, strong, and charismatic woman that touched the hearts of many. Cheri inspired many with her courage and faith during her four year battle with breast cancer. Her sense of humor partnered with a contagious laugh made her a joy to be around whether at work or at home.

She is survived by her husband; Glenn Patterson; three sons: Brandon Mello; Tyler Mello; Garrett Patterson; Parents Gary Wayne Hill; Erlene (Chochran) Davis; two sisters: Denise Moody; Heather Manning; one brother:

Ryan Hill.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA.
