Christine Ward

Christine Michelle Ward, age 40, passed away August 4, 2016 surrounded by her family. Christine was born to two loving parents, Rex and Jacolyn Butler, on September 9, 1975. She was raised in Winchester where she enjoyed raising animals, cooking, sewing and playing with her younger siblings. She was the oldest of six children. When her daughter, Alison, was born in 1995 Christine opened her in-home day care that was filled with learning experiences, discovery, laughter, play, and performances. Every child was happy to spend the day with their loving "Tine" and she helped them grow to the amazing adults they are today. Christine fell in love and married David Ward on March 25, 2006. They spent many years laughing and truly enjoying life together. Christine will be deeply missed by the many, many lives she touched, including her parents, Rex and Jacolyn Butler, her husband David Ward and their children Alison, Jason, Joseph, and Emilia, her siblings and all the many, many loving extended family members. Family, friends, and others whose lives Christine touched are invited to mass and to celebrate her life at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 26340 Soboba Street, Hemet, on August 16 at 11:00am. Her family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Scholarship Fund in her honor.
