Christopher James Helms

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Christopher James Helms. Christopher James Helms, 52, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at his home in Hemet, CA. His memorial service will be held Friday, August 10, 2018, 10:00am, at McWane Family Funeral home. Burial services will follow.

Chris was born on Friday, December 17, 1965 in Burbank, California to Larry Leland Helms and Sherill Sue Privett. He had a successful career as a Crane Operator for 35 years and enjoyed his work tremendously. Chris married Laurene Jo Rhoton in 1986 and on September 3, 1987 they welcomed their first born, Christopher Anthony Helms. They were blessed two more times with the birth of their daughter Robin Destiny Helms on November 20, 1992 and Cody Joe Helms, December 30, 1994. Chris enjoyed playing with and taking his three grandchildren on adventures. They are Kat, Zoey and Jesse. Chris enjoyed gardening, collecting guns and knives and was a really good cook.

Chris is survived by his mother, three children, three grandchildren and sibling, Kim Helms.
