

Clifford Frank Higgins, 77 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Pomona Valley Hospital. He was born on Saturday, September 6, 1941 to the late Gibson and Gertrude Higgins. Cliff was a 30 year Teamster route-man delivering dairy products, 7Up, Wonder Bread, and then Linens. He loved his customers and they loved him!! He enjoyed coaching his son’s basketball and baseball teams including the High school traveling team in the summer. Once retired he loved to visit the local casinos to play his favorite game, Black Jack. He was a very good bowler and belonged to many leagues and competed in tournaments. Cliff had a love of horse racing and enjoyed spending time at Del Mar, Santa Anita, Los Alamitos, and the old Hollywood Park. He was also was a local sports fan following the LA Angels and Chargers. In his spare time, he loved to read detective stories written by Dean Koontz. His family describe him as outgoing, liked to relate to people. He will be missed by those that knew him and loved him. Survived by daughters, Cathy Higgins, Karen Balfour (Paul), son, Chris, sister Margaret Merceica, his brother, Michael, 5 grandsons and 1 great grandson. Services will be private.
