

Clifford LeRoy King was born on October 15, 1918, in Caldwell, Idaho at Mrs. Monk's home, and passed away peacefully on April 16, 2014, at the age of 95 years at his home, the Sterling Inn in Victorville, California. He is succeeded by his two children: a son, Steven King, and a daughter, Judith "Jai" King. Cliff is also succeeded by six grandchildren and one great grand-daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy King, 1962, and Martha Langford King, 1945, his brother William King, 1955, and his wife Wilma Ruth King in 2004. Cliff was a devoted husband and father. He graduated from Homedale, Idaho High School in 1937. He served in the Army during World War II, where he was stationed in New Guinea. After the war, he and Wilma moved to Oregon and began their studies at Northwest Christian College. Cliff put his studies on a back burner due to the birth of his first child in 1950. In 1971 he went back to NCC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974. He was very active in his church, serving as an usher for several years at the Eugene Faith Center Church. He had several business endeavors ranging from real estate to a retail garden nursery in Eugene, Oregon.
