Corazon Mateo Hernandez, 76 of Riverside, California passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at her home. She was born Saturday, September 21, 1935 in Tuguegarao, Philippines, she was the daughter of Gregorio Mateo and Maria Aquino. Corazon dedicated her life to being a wonderful school teacher for more than 40 years, she also taught many how to play the piano. Her family remembers her as someone who was big hearted and loved to sing. She was a member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church.
Surviving are daughters, Maria Lumague of Riverside, CA, Caridad Samonte and Mariateresa Ebana, brother, Mariano Mateo, sister, Prima Bacungan; 5 grand children; 6 great grand children.
