Connie's hobbies included painting, ice skating, and shopping. She and Delvin enjoyed traveling, they have been all over the world together. Delvin chuckled as he recalled her enjoyment during shopping sprees in various countries. Connie also founded the Veteran's Day Ball at 'The Colony' in Murrieta, CA. She hosted the elegant affair for 8 years.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Delvin Smith, Jr; their sons Neil Smith and Delvin III; her sister Merilyn Hudgins; 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild.
