Cruz V Ortega, 71 of Nuevo, California passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born Tuesday, May 11, 1943 in Compton, California , he was the son of the late Trinidad Ortega and the late Senaida Valdez Ortega.
Cruz liked to watch football and basketball on TV, he especially enjoyed watching the Lakers. He could often be found out in his garden attending to his flowers. His biggest love was his family. He truly enjoyed all of his grandchilden. He will be greatly missed.
Cruz is survived by his son, Cruz Ortega Jr; his daughters, Lydia Ortega, Dara Ortega and Miriam Ortega.
