Kit graduated from John North High School in Riverside, California in 1973. Right after high school, she went to Chaffey College and received her Associates Degree in Liberal Studies. After college, she started her career at the University of California, Riverside as a Library Assistant. Kit loved her job and was very passionate about higher education. After 43 years and 8 months of service, Kit retired from her position on June 18, 2019.
On October 13, 1974 her beloved son, Jovan Sapp, was born. Jovan was the apple of her eye.
In 1989 in Los Angeles, Kit reconnected with a longtime friend Odell Rembert. Kit and Odell have known each other since elementary school. They both attended Trinity Baptist Church in Sumter where Odell’s Uncle, Reverend L. W. Walker Sr., was the Senior Pastor and where Kit was baptized at an early age. Kit and Odell were married in Moreno Valley on August 14,1999 - 20 years of marriage.
Kit loved to travel and take cruises. She enjoyed going to the movies and cracking open a new romantic or mystery novel. You could always find her watching her favorite host Steve Harvey on Family Feud.
Kit transitioned from this life into Glory on Friday, February 24, 2020. She leaves to celebrate her life in heaven her husband and love of her life for 20 years, Odell Rembert, Son Jovan Sapp, Step Daughter Kristain L Liviton, Step Son Kevin Odell & wife Misty Rembert, Father John Wagner, Mother Dorothy Wagner, four sisters: Doris Johnson, Cheryl Rollerson, Francina Cowan, Reiko Sudduth (Rhoadell Sudduth), three brothers: Minister Anthony Rollerson (Tedra), Kenneth Wagner (Kyoko), Rev. Terrance Rollerson (Michelle), one sister in law Ida C Kelley, four brothers in law Moses Rembert (Doris) , Phil Rembert (Annie), Abraham Rembert (Leslie) and David Rembert, two grandchildren Kevin Odell II and Faith Rembert. Along with a whole host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
She was preceded into Glory by siblings Rodney Rollerson and Wanda Irby.
