Forever 14
Dailyn K. James, beloved son, family member, and friend, was born on March 30, 2011, weighing almost 10 pounds, to Mary James. From the very beginning, he was a happy and curious baby. He began walking at just 10 months and loved to feed himself—often leaving behind a big mess and plenty of smiles. Even as a toddler, Dailyn showed a heart full of love for others and shared an unbreakable bond with his grandma and Tia, a connection like no other.
Dailyn went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 27, 2025, at the age of 14.
Dailyn was a freshman in high school and a dedicated student, proudly maintaining a 3.7 GPA. He loved Jesus and going with his youth group to outings, he was a talented soccer player, an avid gamer, and someone who was deeply loved by his family and friends. Those who knew Dailyn will always remember his handsome smile, contagious laugh, and fun-loving sense of humor. His hair was his trademark, and his warm presence lit up every room he entered.
Dailyn embraced life with passion. He loved soccer—so much that he even became a referee for younger players—along with gaming and listening to music. He was also a devoted fan of the Dodgers, 49ers, and Lakers. Attending sporting events brought him so much joy. He also loved exploring new places and was never afraid to try new foods or experiences.
When he talked about his future he talked about joining the Marines and then get a job that made lots of money so he can buy expensive cars. He and his mom shared countless conversations about his first car, plans for his 21st birthday, and the places they would travel together. Those dreams and conversations will forever be held close to her heart.
Above all, Dailyn’s greatest love was for his mom, grandma, Tia, his family, his dog and cat, and his friends. His memory will live on through his bright smile, his love for sports, music, and gaming, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. His mom will continue to carry out the dreams they shared and honor his life every day.
Dailyn K. James will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
