Dale served his country in the US Army, he worked in the school district for 20 years. Dale enjoyed shooting at the shooting range, working in his garden, listening to oldies but goodies music, ready mafia and western books and spending time with his dogs, Duke and Boss.
He is survived by his loving wife Kimmie Lynn Young-Hooks; his mother Gloria Hooks and father Jefferson Hooks Jr.; his sibling and their families, Darryl Hooks, Sonya Hooks-Broyles, David Hooks and Derrick Hooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 8:30am to 10:00am at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, California, with a funeral service at 10am. A repass will follow the funeral service at Miller-Jones Mortuary reception house, with a graveside service to follow at 2pm, staging area #1 at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California 92518.
