He was born in Mexico on Monday, June 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Jesus Carranza and the late Marta Lira Carranza.
Surviving are sons, Wilfrido Carranza, Jose Manuel Carranza and Daniel Carranza, daughters, M. Elida Carranza of Perris, CA, Maria Martinez, Diocelina Esquivel, Angelica Carranza and Rosa Chagolla.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at St. Francis Catholic Church, 4268 Lime Street, Riverside, California. A Funeral service will be at 9:00 AM on Friday September 20, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church located at 4268 Lime Street Riverside, California 92501. Interment will be in Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, CA at 10:00 am, Friday, September, 20, 2019.
