Darreldene Wilma Webb

Darreldene Wilma Webb, 78 of San Jacinto, volunteer, craft maker, seamstress and homemaker passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, at home. Darreldene worked with TRW as an electronic assembler for 37 years working on the the space program for the Apollo and Shuttle program. She also worked on the Disneyland attractions of It's a Small world, Abraham Lincolin, and The Haunted House. She loved to crochet hats and small blankets for the premature babies born at the local hospital in Hemet and Loma Linda. She was an accomplished traveler with her late husband, Laverne Webb of 37 years Darreldene was very active while living in Hemet with her friends. They had outings scheduled every day for example, bunko night, movie day, taco night, and lunch out. She was fond of saying a phrase she coined, " Oh My " when describing things that were unbelievable or astonishing. Darreldene could be seen nibbling on ice cream or sorbet but shrimp was her favorite dinner dish. Darreldene did not take any fashion cues from anyone. Her family describes her as giving, caring, accepting of all peoples and their problems. She was never judgmental but calm, until you talked about the planet or world problems. She loved to fuss over her family and truly enjoyed being with all of them. She insisted that her family come first. She was a precious gift from God above, so much beauty, grace and love. Mom touched our hearts in so many ways, her smile so bright even on the bad days. She heard God's whisper calling her home, she didn't want to go and leave us alone. She loved us so much, she held on tight, till all the strength was gone and you could no longer fight. He had called her name twice before, she knew she couldn't make him wait anymore. So she gave her hand to God and slowly drifted away, knowing that with our love we will be together again some day. Surviving is her son, Edward Webb ( Caribe ), daughters, Kathy Slack ( John ), Suzanne Jones ( Tracy ) and Sandra Brown ( Willie ), brother, Robert Lugo, sister, Charlotte Mc Clay, 12 grand children and 10 great grand children.
