David Richard Kramer died September 8, 2024 in Murrieta, California after a long illness. David was born to the late Paul Richard Kramer and Frances Brong Kramer on September 4, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. David was a graduate of Dieruff High School Allentown, PA, Southern University Carbondale, IL, and Webster University St. Louis MO. David served faithfully for 30 years in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1995 and rose to the rank of Commander. After David's and Mae's retirement, they lived in La Mesa, CA. David and Mae enjoyed playing golf and wanted to live on a golf course. So, while visiting and playing golf in Hemet with friends they found the Seven Hills Community and decided to purchase a home there.
Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Paul Kramer. Dave leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Mae Blackstone Kramer. A daughter, Barbara L. Stokes of Mesa, AZ, a son, Lance D. Blackstone and wife Julianne of Phelan, CA, two granddaughters Kacie Blackstone and husband Blaise of San Diego, CA., Kellie Blackstone and husband Aaron of Wellington, CO. Brother Rev. Gregory Kramer and wife Lauralee, of Selinsgrove, PA., and their sons Jason and wife Nicole of Belgrade, MT, and Aaron and wife Amy and their children Lily and Noah of Saranac Lake, NY. Children of deceased brother Michael, son David P. Kramer and wife Jennifer of North Logan, UT, and their children Andrew and Emily and daughter Jennifer Shelly and husband Stephen and their son Calvin of Slatington, PA. David is also survived by 16 first cousins living all over the United States. Also, a host of neighbors and friends.
David was a member of the Seven Hills Golf Club, The Sunday Sunsetters Golf Club at Seven Hills, the Christian Golf Association, the Military Officers Association, and the United States Navy Ground Control Approach Association.
