David Tahun Mathis, age 38, of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Moreno Valley, CA. He was born on Wednesday, February 05, 1975 in Seoul, Korea to William H Mathis, Jr and Chong (Cha) Mathis. He was a Valley View High School graduate, where he excelled in Basketball and Football. He enjoyed racing BMX bikes and cooking. He left a lasting impression with everyone he met. His happy and friendly demeanor will never be forgotten.
Those left to mourn his passing, but cherish his memory are, his parents, William H. Mathis, Jr. and Chong Mathis; son, Naziah Tahun Mathis; brother, William Mathis III; sisters, Brita Mathis and Carla Smith; 3 nieces; 4 nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
