Born September 10, 1942, in Duncanville, Alabama, he lived in Tuscaloosa Alabama before coming to Los Angeles Long Beach and Hemet, California.
Survivors include His two daughters Dyonne Blythe and Divina Patterson, son-in-laws Nathan Patterson and Charles Blythe. , his sister and brothers, Glenn McCoy, Calvin McCoy, Betty McCoy and Belinda McCoy-Hunter, grandsons Cameron Malvo, Charles Blyrhe and Quinton Blythe and a host of nieces and nephews.
