Born Friday, October 9, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Julius Gotthilf and the late Kathryn Lambert Gotthilf. He was the husband of Marion Nyman.
David loved to golf and go bowling. He was known for his dry sense of humor. His wife Marion remembers him as a wonder person and the "Perfect" husband.
Surviving are sons, David Nyman, Eric Nyman and John Nyman, daughter, Dollie Nyman.
