Derek was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, fishing and gardening. He also liked to golf and work out at the Gym. Derek loved his dog Forest, his family and his church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Derek is survived by his loving parents, David and Melody Lewis; his two sisters, Megan Amanda Wolf and Rayna Leigh Torres; and his brother, Nathan David Lewis.
