Diana Leal

Diana Leal, 74 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California . She was born on Thursday, December 9, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Jesus and Nellie Maldonado. Her passion was always being in the garden tending to her flowers. Diana was an excellent cook making everyones favorite dishes to enjoy such as chicken enchilada casserole, rice pudding, and potato salad. Soboba was not a stranger to Diana, she loved to play the penny slots hitting big jack pots once in a while. She also was an expert seamstress where she made many of her daughter clothes and Barbie dolls to match. Her family describes her as quite, family oriented, a wonderful mother , grandmother and sister. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. Survivors are her daughter Holly Leal; sisters Nellie Najera and Irene Smith; grand children Tristan Leal (Jessica) and Danica Mayorga ( Andrew) and 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled for January 19, 2017 at 1:00PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Ave, Hemet CA 92543.
