

Dick Johnson, knew no strangers and had just celebrated his 47th Anniversary on July 4, 2011 with his beautiful wife, Nina. He attended Pasadena High School and served briefly in the Coast Guard at the end of WWII. He received his Bachelors at UC Santa Barbara. His family moved to Newport Beach where they continued their. three-generation car business. He met his wife, Nina at the Balboa Ski Club. The couple married on July 4, 1964 in Tustin, California. Dick and Nina attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They raised their children in Orange Park Acres and later settled in Murrieta, CA. Dick loved his family, his horses, football and always had a special place for his many wonderful friends.
Dick is survived by his loving family: Wife, Nina Johnson; six children, Jake Johnson, Richard Johnson, Vestanna Nulph, Marylou Johnson, Michael Johnson, Kathryn Demke; Sister, Marjorie Lueke; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
There will be a visitation at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, Ca 92586 on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 24820 Las Brisas Ave., Murrieta, Ca 92562 with burial to follow at Laurel Cemetery, 42800 Ivy St., Murrieta, Ca 92562.
