Dollie Amanda Walters Gardner, 76 of Hemet, Ca. went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Dollie was born Saturday, May 16, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska, She was the daughter of the late Charles E. Walters and the late Gladys Coldiron Walters. Surviving are sons, Rick Gardner and Mike Gardner, daughters, Sandy Powell and Tammy Gardner, a brother, Jerry Walters. Dollie had 11 grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She retired from Hemet Hospital and enjoyed working in her yard. She enjoyed plants and especially cactus. Her family would say that she was loving, thoughtful, ornery, and a cantankerous person. Dollie was very strong in her faith and God. Dollie was a collector of Angels. Her family said "she will always be in our hearts." A service will be held on April 5, 2013 at 1 PM at Miller-Jones Chapel, 1501 W. Florida Ave. Hemet, Ca. 92543.
