

Donald Ludvig Tofte Jr. (aka Jr); 58 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, surrounded by family. He was born to Donald L Tofte Sr and the late Doris M Tofte on Friday, July 20, 1962. He was married to the love of his life, Dawn D. Tofte for 6 years. They celebrated their 10th anniversary together getting married on the price is right; still keeping their original wedding plans later the same year in October. Jr made his living as a long haul truck driver for over 37 years before he was required to stop due to medical reasons. He loved driving and crossing the country. He found his renewed passion of riding motorcycles and joined the American Legion Post 848 Riders of San Jacinto. Although he was not able to serve his country, he found he had a knack for giving back to the Veterans that served especially ones being cared for. Jr was one of the founding fathers for " Veterans Days Out". He and many of the Post 848 veterans would go to Loma Linda Hospital, check Veterans out for the day and take them to the Post 848 for a day of fun. He organized car shows and venders with lots of activates and food . The Soboba Reservation gave many donations based on the work that Jr put in to the Veterans Days Out events. He loved giving his time to Veterans. Surviving is his wife Dawn D, sons Jeremy and Justin Tofte, Duane Dowing Jr (Heather); Deidra Dowing (Aaron); Trevor Loosli (Autumn); Joshua Loosli, his sisters Victoria and Donna, brother Robert. and 11 grandchildren. . Services will be private.
