

She was very proud of growing up on a farm, and graduated from Urbana, Iowa schools in 1941 before the U.S.’s entrance into WWII. She attended business school in nearby Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 1947 she married Harry Cady, Jr., and after the birth of two children they settled in Corona, California in 1954. Donna worked as a secretary at the Navel Weapons Center in Norco, California, GSA Motor Pool in Riverside, and the Bureau of Land Management in Riverside.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Jessie Hauser; sister Dorothy Emery; brothers Gerald, Orville, and Clifford.
She is survived by her son, Steven Cady (Sharon); her daughter, Sherry Slover (Michael); grandchildren, Daniel Slover (Lindsay), Sierra Smith (Rory), Joshua Cady (Nickol), and Cristina Becker (Geoff); great-grandchildren, Logan Becker, Kyra Smith, Charlize Becker, John Slover, Corbin Smith, Mandy Becker, Clara Slover, Jasper Cady, and Forest Cady.
There will be no immediate memorial service. A memorial is being planned for August when she would have had her 100th birthday.
