In the hands of the Lord, Donna Mae Morita, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Manor Care Health Services in Hemet, California. Donna was born on Friday, June 26, 1942, in Granville, Pennsylvania, to her late parents Carl Urich and Edna (Walls) Urich.
In the 1950s Donna moved with her "Daddy" to southern Ca and graduated from Montebello H.S. It's was here that she met her first husband (Terry Terrill) and soon thereafter they became Mr. & Mrs. and began her family in the 60s, having two healthy boys to raise and surrounded by family.
By the early 70s she and her family relocated to Maryvale Arizona where Donna volunteered at her boys’ schools, scouts, and many activities while growing her family. Donna truly enjoyed her Arizona sunsets and peaceful Highway road trips to old mining towns with family. By the late 70s she split up with Terry and she returned to Monterey Park Ca with her boys and began her LVN nursing career that she felt was Gods calling and loved so passionately.
In the early 80s Donna met and fell in love with Joe Morita, who she married and shortly after relocated into her brand new home he had built for her in Hemet, California, where she still continued her love for nursing & serving community both as a nurse at many facilities around the Valley and as a CNA instructor well into her 70s.
Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband Joe Morita, and survived by her children Terry Terrill (Florenda), Marlon Terrill (Polly), her grandchildren Steven Terrill (Serina), Trisha Horstman (Micah), her beautiful great grandchildren, Beckham, Leighton, Hunter, and her sisters Helen and Mary. Donna was an amazing woman, a true example of how God's grace and love surpasses all, He has provided so much peace, comfort, and protection in all life's many chapters.
