72 of Temecula, California, passed away on November 19, 2012. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she was born on April, 10, 1940, to Joseph and Myrtle Gillies. Doreen Sheila Gillies had two older brothers, Vernon and Wallace. She is survived by three children, Wanda, Wesley and David, five grandchildren, David, Alicia, Heidi, Danielle and Matthew and seven great grandchildren, Alexandria, Aaliyah, Ariel, Andrena, Timothy, Trevor and Wyatt. Doreen enjoyed camping, bowling, traveling, volunteering and going to Bible studies. She was a prayer counselor for the Trinity Broadcasting Network, a drug and alcohol abuse counselor and an advocate and counselor for battered women. She was very caring, kind and a giving person. Her life has touched so many and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
