Dorothy Gowdy, age 96 a long-time resident Sun City, California entered eternal life on Friday, September 22, 2017, in Spring Valley, California. Born Monday, November 22, 1920 in Jackson, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Eben Fisk and the late Dorothy Nevens Fisk.
Surviving are sons, James G Gowdy and Richard K Gowdy and daughter, Nevah J Bartram; eleven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Gowdy and son, Michael L Gowdy.
A cemeteryservice will be at 11:01 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California. Interment will be with her husband in the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
