DOROTHY E. MCDOWELL, 94 of Hemet, CA peacefully passed away July 16, 2014; born originally in Wisconsin, she lived most of her life in Southern California. She was a retired Lunch Attendant from the Los Angeles Unified School District 2 at Grant High School. She loved to Craft, Dance and donate her time working with local Bazaars.
She is preceded in death by her late husband John McDowell and son Gary Sorrells. She is survived by son Ron Sorrells of Jacksonville, FL; Step- Daughter Karen McDowell of Bohannon, VA; Niece Carol Sorrells of Central Point, OR; a Grandson and 2 Great Grandkids of Etters, PA.
