Edmund Joseph Wawrzynski Jr. passed away on January 6, 2013 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on August 8, 1930 and was married to Beverley Wawrzynski for 62 years. Edmund worked in the construction industry for over 20 years operating heavy equipment. He was a jack of all trades and could operate any machine, work with any tool and fix just about anything. Edmund was well known around his neighborhood to be a man that could help build a fence or cook a meal. He also was very active with playing pool, horse shoes and shuffle board. He participated in the Senior Olympics of Hemet every year and won many events. His family describes him as never knowing a stranger. Edmund was generous, had a colorful sense of humor and considered everyone he met as a friend. He is survived by his wife Beverley, sons Paul (Geraldine) Wawrzynski and David ( Shirley) Wawrzynski, and sister Dorothy (Charles) Tex, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for Monday, January 14 at 11:00 at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W Florida, Hemet CA 92543 with a reception to follow.
