

Edward Micheal Berroteran passed away at the age of 69, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, in Loma Linda, CA. He was born in Hemet, California, on Tuesday, July 26, 1949, to the late Joaquin Marcial and Concepcion (Reyes) Berroteran.
Edward was born and raised in Hemet, California. He met the love of his life, his best friend, Anita (McMullen) Berroteran, at a dance and have been blessed with 49 years of marriage ever since. Edward graduated from Hemet High School in 1968, when it was located on Santa Fe and Devonshire. He, then, was drafted to the army and left his hometown at the age of 19 to go to Vietnam. Their first year of marriage was spent in Tacoma, Washington, then relocated back to Hemet, California to start a family and raised their 5 beautiful children: Stephanie Amber, Summer Grace, Sara Mashell, Elias Samuel, and Seth Edward. Edward was blessed with 19 grandchildren which he was known as PAPA; and 1 adorable great-grandchild. He was family oriented; his family came first at all times. Edward enjoyed camping, going to the beach, and to the amusement parks. Every year on Thanksgiving Day, he had a tradition of taking his family to Disneyland. His wife described him as loving, caring, and a kind soul. Edward will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Anita Berroteran; his caring children, Sara Mashell, Elias Samuel, and Seth Edward; his 19 precious grandchildren; 1 adorable great-grandchild; and his siblings, Alicia Soderman and Kenny Berroteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin and Concepcion Berroteran; and his 2 daughters, Stephanie Amber and Summer Grace.
A Celebration of Life date will be posted for family and all who knew him.
