Edward A Willey, 82 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Hemet, California. He was born on Friday, December 20, 1935, to the late Edward Willey and the late Edna Willey. He was married to the love of his life, Nancy for over 60 years before her passing in April 2015. His family states that it is poetic for his light to have finally gone out on the Solstice because he was so full of light and love. He was the embodiment of the longest day of light. Al touched many lives working as a school psychologist for Hemet Unified School District. Surviving are his son, Edward Willey, (Kim); daughters, Suzanne Moore and Nanette Kinkade and sister, Judy Leply (Bob); grandchildren Marissa Mattern, Edward Patrick Willey, Merritt Gee (Matt); Chandler Tomku (Geo); Winsor Kinkade, Everett Kinkade, Frances Moore, Hannah Moore and Joseph Moore. Services will be private.
