Edwin Francis Boom

Edwin "Bud" Francis Boom, of South Dakota, born on June 3, 1920 in Hamlin County, South Dakota, to the late Edith and Edward Boom, passed away at at home at age 98 on February 11, 2019 in Murrieta, California. He was in the Steel Piping & Tubing industry at TubeSales as a Warehouse Supervisor until retiring in 1983. Edwin was the beloved husband of Darlene Boom. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Villasenor; brother, Lester Boom; and sister, Marion Green. Edwin is survived by his daughter, Glenyce Drotar; and sister, Margaret "Dottie" Wilde, five granddaughters and thirteen great-grandchildren. Edwin had a passion for gardening, fishing & hunting, and loving his grandchildren. Friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Chris Deknatel, on Thursday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, California, 92586

He is survived by His wife of 76 years, Darlene Boom, daughter, Glenyce Drotar, sister, Margaret "Dottie" Wilde; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by daughter, Bonnie Villasenor.
