Elaine was a very knowledgeable woman. She graduated from Sutton High School at the age of 16 and went to teach at a country one room school in Sutton, Nebraska. She told of her having to teach all grades of students found in that one classroom. She was later to work over 32 years for the Federal Government in different capacities and with different agencies in Chicago, Illinois. One of those jobs was for the FDIC; at which, her office was located in the Sears Tower. She loved nature and loved being outdoors. She enjoyed long drives with her sister-in-law, Dolores to Idyllwild for breakfast. She enjoyed travel! She was fortunate enough to travel many places on land and take various ocean cruises.
Aunt Elaine, as she was lovingly referred to, was an avid reader. In particular she loved reading the newspaper. She would pay close attention to the special interests of her family and friends. She would clip special articles and poems which would always be found attached to a birthday or a "Thinking of You" card.
Aunt Elaine was an extremely pleasant woman who loved to smile. She never had an angry word to say. She was kind and quiet.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her brother Lemoine Anderson and her Sister-in-law, Dolores Anderson. Feeling a loss as well will be her five nieces and nephews; Jean, Marsha, Julie, Mark and Pamela.
Elaine Anderson touched many lives and will be truly missed by a host of family, extended family members and friends and all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA Elaine will be laid to rest at the Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, Nebraska.
