Born Sunday, October 3, 1926 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Ruggiero Del Gallo and the late Columbia Tristany Del Gallo. He served as a SSGT in the Air Force from 1946 until 1968. Elmo was a big fan of college football and he also loved watching Western movies day and night.
Surviving are brother, Art Del Gallo, sisters, Diane Del Gallo and Janet Del Gallo; Stepsons Louie and Bill Hoop; Grandson Jason Hoop as well as other family members and friends who will always cherish the memories they had with Elmo.
