On Sunday, June 1, 2014 baby Emily Faith Duarte was born weighing 7 lbs. 13 oz. , 19 inches long at 7:26 a.m. to Cynthia & Jesse Duarte. Excited by her arrival and a new addition to our family Emily was born with unexpected complications. Doctors noticed Emily was not breathing and then rushed into action. Soon after doctors got her to breath they noticed something was not right. Emily was born with Goldenhar Syndrome which was the cause to her difficulties of breathing. Emily was rushed to Loma Linda Children's Hospital. A few days later Emily underwent heart surgery. We had the utmost Faith that Emily would get better, but she did not. On Father's day, Sunday, June 15, 2014, at 2:40 pm our beloved Emily Faith Duarte passed away. Heaven gained a little Angel. Our hearts are broken, we are devastated but our hearts are comforted by knowing she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
