

Estelle Gail Miller, 76, of San Jacinto, California, formerly of Skokie, IL,, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Murrieta in Murrieta, California. She was born Saturday, November 19, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Edward Helfer and Rose Epstein Helfer. Estelle was married to the love of her life, Paul Miller, for over 54 years. She lived most of her life in Chicago, Illinois where she was born and raised. Estelle enjoyed power-walking in the parks near Chicago to get her exercise. She was an avid reader and started every day with reading the Bible. Estelle enjoyed the classic TV shows The Andy Griffith Show and Green Acres where she would laugh at the many situations the characters put themselves in. Living in San Jacinto gave her the opportunity to visit with her son and his family, and she would see them as often as possible.
Estelle had a unique ability to strike up conversations with anyone, and really enjoy their company. Her family describes her as passionate, loving, and concerned about people.
Surviving is her husband Paul Miller, son Scott Miller and his wife Linda, brother Harold Helfer and his wife Florence, sister Shirley Pellegrini, grandchildren Matthew (Carrie), Noell, Heather, Temree (Andrew), and Caleb (Elise), great-grandchildren, Abishay, Monroe, Isaac, Zoe, and Trinity.
Internment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 North Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL 60660, on September 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Any memorial contributions can be made to: Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, 225 E. Chicago Ave., Chicago, Il. 60611.
