Esther Sharon Brassie was born in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, April 16, 1932. She was the oldest of three children born to the late Paul and Clara Smith. She was known as Sharon to her friends and Gigi to her grandchildren. She was full of life and energy and loved being out in the garden, on the water, or the mountain. She was a dynamic person who loved parties and people. She was a hard worker who was very determined to be successful and to provide for her family. She would say" I am ready to go to work".
Sharon's career was Sales and Office Management. In the early 1970's, Sharon was one of the top car sales women. She sold more cars than most of the men she worked with (this kind of success was very unusual for a woman during this time period). She was also successful with Real Estate. For the past 15 years Sharon has assisted her son Steven in growing his business in Perris, California. She took pride in all she did, "anything worth doing is worth doing right". She loved being at her home in Big Bear and spending time in the outdoors observing the beauty of God.
On Sunday, November 20, 2011, at her home in Perris, California, Sharon went home to be with the Lord. Her family rejoices in the fact that she has a new heavenly body and no more earthly pain. As she walks with the Angels she is greeted by her parents, Paul and Clara; her sons, Bradford Allen Brassie and Michael Phillip Brassie; her grandson, Phillip Michael Brassie; and her sister, Paula Cude. Here to cherish her memory and life legacy is her daughter, Laura Roberson and husband Michael; her sons, Bernard (Sonny) and wife Yvette, and Steven Brassie; her grandchildren, Anastasia Rae Ludolph and husband Jason, Lisa Marie Brassie, Nicole Cherie Main and husband Dustin, and Tamara Krystal Krause; sister, Georgia and a great grandchild Kai Alexander Ludolph, due to arrive shortly. She will forever be loved and in the hearts of her family and friends.
