Evelyn Kirkendall passed away at her daughter's home in Norco, CA on September 5, 2019, after turning 104 on August 20, 2019. She was under wonderful care of Anthem Hospice of Riverside, CA She was born in Tulsa, OK and lived in many states growing up. She met and married John Kirkendall in 1956 in TX and moved to John's home in Gardena, CA where they lived until his retirement from Goodyear in early 70's. They were long time residents of Hemet upon his retirement. They loved to travel and visited all 50 states, Canada and Mexico. She is survived by her son Jack Walton of Palm Springs, CA and daughter Colleen (Jill) Wintermute, 5 grandchildren, Jeff, Dave and Mike Wintermute of Norco, CA, Debbie Walker of Oak Hills, CA, John Jackson of Murrieta, CA and one great grandson Daniel Porter, of Las Vegas, NV. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She is now in God's loving hands. There will be no services at her request.
