Evelyn Izelda Robertson

Evelyn Izelda Robertson, 89 a long time resident of Perris and Sun City, CA was born Tuesday, September 6, 1921 in Colton, California . She was the daughter of Fayette and Kathryn Jones. Evelyn was married to Raymond Robertson in 1945; they shared a life together for 25 years before his passing in 1974. She was a wonderful woman, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. For over 20 years she was a Teachers aide with the Perris Elementary School District. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Perris and PEO. Her pastimes included painting, gardening, traveling and playing tennis. On Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Riverside, California Evelyn was called to be with the Lord. She now joins her loving husband; parents; six siblings; Viola, Ernest, Mildred, Eleanor, Dorothy and William. Evelyn is survived by her three children, Kathleen (Larry) Wheeler, Timothy (Sharon) Robertson and Sharon (Bobby) Hester; four grand children, Matthew, John, Brian and Kari; and seven great grand children, Hannah, Lauren, Ashlyn, Jessica, Christian, Riley and Chase. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary Perris,California. A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at First Congregational Church of Perris located at 100 N. A St. Perris, California 92570. Inurnment will follow at Perris Valley Cemetery, Perris, California. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to PEO- Scholarship Fund, MSF Foundation, Huntington's Disease Research, or First Congregational Church of Perris.
